Ultra-Berm Builder® – Plus Model
Drive-over barrier provides heavy-duty custom plastic pellet containment
Concrete curbs, steel walls, and standard berms can all define a containment area. What you can’t do is drive over them. The Ultra-Berm Builder Plus creates permanent plastic pellet containment on concrete, asphalt, and most sealed surfaces, and trucks, forklifts, and other vehicles can drive right over its walls. That makes it a good fit for areas where microplastics may spill during open transfers.
The open-cell foam core compresses to about 1/4″ when driven over and springs back once the vehicle passes. Each section secures to the floor with sealant and is reinforced with aluminum mounting strips and steel anchors, both included, for a long-term installation that can be laid out to fit your site.

Frequently Asked Questions
How is the Ultra-Berm Builder Plus installed?
It adheres to the floor with sealant (not included) and is reinforced with pre-drilled aluminum mounting strips and steel anchors (included).
How much floor sealant will I need?
Each tube covers approximately 25 feet of Berm Builder when applied .25″ wide x .125″ deep.
How much vinyl adhesive will I need?
One can is enough for 8–10 connections.
What size containment area do I need?
We recommend 2 feet of clearance on all sides of the item within the berm if space allows. For example, for a truck 8 feet wide by 55 feet long, we suggest a 12′ x 60′ area.
Can the Ultra-Berm Builder Plus be cut to size?
Yes. Cut the berm with a utility knife and straight edge, and cut the aluminum mounting strips with a hacksaw. Always wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
Can I step on the sidewalls?
Yes. The sidewalls can be stepped on or rolled over with light, wheeled equipment. The open-cell foam springs back once the weight is removed.
How can I protect my berm from damage?
Avoid hard braking and skidding. Driving over the sidewall at the wrong angle can cause damage, so drivers should not turn before fully exiting the berm. A warning cone, or a line of cones, is a good visual reminder to steer straight until clear.
Is the installation permanent? Can I remove it?
It is meant to be a long-term installation. If necessary, remove it by backing out the screws in the mounting strips and lifting the berm with a flat-bladed shovel.
What is it made of?
Open-cell foam wrapped in vinyl.
Can it be shipped internationally?
Yes, everything except the vinyl adhesive (Part #8645).
