Ultra-Filter Sock®
Filter stormwater around drains while stopping plastic pellets at the same time
Rain and wind carry loose pellets toward gutters, storm drains, and drainage channels. The Ultra-Filter Sock can be placed around storm drains, across gullies and ditches, or anywhere debris, including plastic pellet debris, needs to be filtered out of stormwater flow.
Each 9-foot sock has a woven geotextile casing that lets stormwater flow through while the media inside removes pollutants. Just lay it down in front of a drain or inlet. There’s no hardware to install and no heavy grates to lift.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why would I choose the Ultra-Filter Sock over other stormwater products?
(1) Ease of use: lay it in front of a drain or inlet, with no hardware to install and no heavy grates to lift. (2) Versatility: multiple filter media options remove pollutants many other stormwater products cannot. (3) Treatment trains: media types can be used together to filter out several pollutants.
When would the Ultra-Filter Sock NOT be the right choice?
If a “clean” installation matters, or if the sock could be a tripping hazard for pedestrians or an obstruction for street sweepers or other equipment, another solution may be better.
I have a 10′ curb inlet. How do I protect it?
The socks come in one length (9′), so use multiple units for anything over nine feet. Overlap the units to ensure complete coverage.
Why was there powder in the box?
Some fine dust from the filter media can come loose during shipping, especially with HMRM socks. Rinse the socks with a hose on grass or a vegetated area before use, so the fines are captured away from any catch basin.
